The Paycheck Disappearing Act
My paycheck has "mastered the art" of vanishing faster than my motivation on Monday morning. It's like financial magic: now you see money, now you see a bank account balance that looks like a phone number from the 1920s.
Rent takes half, student loans take a quarter, and the remaining 25% apparently evaporates into a mysterious void that I'm pretty sure is made up of coffee purchases and existential dread.
