The Subscription Service Spiral
Y'all, I just realized I'm paying $73 a month for streaming services I forgot existed. SEVENTY-THREE DOLLARS. That's like... actual money that could go toward my student loans or therapy or literally anything more useful than having access to seventeen different platforms showing the same three movies I never watch. But here I am, too anxious to cancel anything because what if I suddenly develop a burning need to watch that one documentary about serial killers at 2 AM? The fear of missing out on content I'll never consume is apparently worth my financial stability.
