Target Mathematics

Went to Target for toothpaste. TOOTHPASTE. One (1) tube of basic dental hygiene maintenance. Somehow walked out $127 poorer with a cart full of decorative pillows I don't need, organic snacks I'll forget to eat, and three candles that "spoke to my soul."

The toothpaste was $4. The existential crisis of explaining this to my bank account? Priceless. Target isn't a store, it's a psychological experiment designed to separate us from our money while making us feel like we're practicing self-care.
