The "Be Proud of Yourself" Moment
Hey you. Yeah, you scrolling right now. 👋
Can we do something kind of vulnerable today? I want you to tell me ONE thing you're proud of yourself for right now. And before you say "nothing," let me stop you right there!
I don't care if it's something tiny like:
You actually drank water today instead of surviving on coffee
You sent that scary email you've been putting off for weeks
You didn't buy that thing you definitely don't need
You set a boundary and stuck to it
You're still here, still trying, despite everything
Or maybe it's something bigger! Maybe you launched something, learned something, helped someone, or finally cleaned out that one drawer that's been haunting you since 2019.
Here's the thing: we're SO good at beating ourselves up for what we haven't done, but we hardly ever pause to acknowledge what we HAVE done. And that's honestly tragic because you've been doing stuff! You've been showing up! You've been trying!
I'll start: I'm proud that I've been saying "no" to things that don't align with my goals lately, even when it feels uncomfortable. It's small but it's HUGE for recovering people-pleaser me 🙃
Your turn. What's one thing you're proud of? Let's fill these comments with some well-deserved self-appreciation because we all need to hear it (especially from ourselves)! 💛
